Each piece, built from solid wood, is created to bring a sense of calm and permanence to the spaces people live in. We consider how it feels to sit, to touch, to use – how good design improves the rhythm of everyday life.
At Seventh, every joint, curve and surface is refined until it feels right in the hand and true to the eye. The process is deliberate – slow where it needs to be, precise where it counts. Traditional joinery meets modern engineering to achieve lasting strength and effortless balance, guided by the clean lines and restraint of Scandinavian design.
And perfection is something we always come back to, piece by piece – in the way we measure, sand and finish until everything feels exactly as it should.
It all started in 1997, when I began working in forestry. I learned how to plant and care for trees, and later how to cut them properly – with respect for what they give back. That’s where I mastered the skill of patience, and how much difference a good piece of timber can make.
Our furniture is crafted from responsibly sourced timber, supplied by local Kent sawmills we know and trust.
Keeping production local reduces transport, minimises excess and means that every stage – from sourcing to finishing – supports our community and the environment around it.
We design furniture that antiques well: the edges soften, the grain deepens, the finish develops character through years of use.
